- Open the official Punjab RERA website: rera.punjab.gov.in.
- Go to the section for registered projects and search by the project's RERA registration number, the project name or the promoter's name.
- Open the project record and check that the promoter name, project name, location and area match what you have been told.
- Look at the documents uploaded there (approved layout, land title, project completion timeline) and the quarterly progress updates.
- Keep a screenshot or printout of the record with your booking papers.
Under the RERA Act, a registered project must show its registration number and the RERA website address in its advertisements. If a number is shown, you can always check it yourself.
